Continue on  I-70 west toward Glenwood Springs.  Exit south (from I-70 via long right hand exit lane) at the Copper Mountain/Hwy 91 EXIT 195 - 5 minutes or so after the last Frisco, CO exit.  Travelling on, several scenic photo opportunities exist  enroute along the drive up to Fremont Pass (the huge mine complex atop the pass is the presently-idle Climax Molybdenum Mine-AMAX ).  Take heart!.....unlike many "passes" reported to us by visitors, this drive is NOT narrow & winding, NOR  will you encounter chasm-like dropoffs mere  feet from the edge of the highway barriers.  Follow highway on into Leadville.... we are at the south end.
