It was at the heighth of that town's mining boom days, in 1884, that he shot Billy Allen in the Hyman Saloon ~ present-day home to BONANZA TRADING and DOC HOLLIDAYS.  Western and Southwest history fans alike gravitate to the town and these shops ~ which immediately adjoin the Historic TABOR OPERA HOUSE ~  whenever possible.
